good news and bad news
So as i said before this month I have been using the CBE fertility monitor. it confused me at first...but now I believe it is a god send and I wish I used it earlier.
The good news is that it tells me pretty accurately when I ovulate...I got a peak day yesterday and a peak day today..
So that's the good news...the bad news is that I think over the past 6 months I have been missing the "right time!"
When I started after the m/c I did deannas plan..and I would get my smiley..but now it's CD17 and I still have a peak. I think I O late and since I would start on CD8 by the time we got to this point we were so tired! So honestly I think I have been missing it all this time. Now I wish I just took my doctors advice and BD'd 3-4 times a week and not worry about timing...I mean it worked for me the first time!
Anyway I'm glad to know this now. so hopefully in the next few months with the fertility monitor we can get it set...just stinks to know for 6 months I was wrong..lol

awww Jen, as upsetting as it may be that you've been missing your O date, it's exciting that you figured it out with the monitor!!!! So many people miss the timing of their BD...it's very common
I'm praying you get a BFP very very soon

I'm glad you figured out your peak days with the CBE monitor. I'm sorry you may have missed it a few months but the good thing is now you will be on track!!!
Hopefully this will be your month!!!! You will now BD a lot, since you got the peak and then after your 2ww get your BFP!!!!
Many prayers your way for some great news!!!!

the CBEFM is the best... I realized the same thing... and the frist month asks you test all the time. If you need it again next month which I hope u don't it gets to know and will start asking you to pee not as much and sometimes it does jump from low to peak Have FUn!

seriously i think thats my problem...the only time i got pregooooooo i just happen to BD for two weeks stright cuz i was on vacay lol......
we are so tired all of the time and you know what i bet thats our problem too..

I bought my CBEFM on Friday. I was supposed to get AF on the 23rd and she was a little late but then none the less showed up slightly late that night. Then was on and off there but very light for the next two days. Finally Friday morning she was in full force.
I am not sure if I did it right but I turned it on at 8am on Saturday morning so that my testing window would be from 5am - 11am, held down the M key until it said 2 and let go. Is that right???
Was I at day 2 since it was very light for two days? Or should I have started with 4 instead. I am so confused...please help!!
I know I dont post that much on here, but I really could use some help. I would appreciate any information anyone can give.

I think it's great that the monitor is helping so much. I don't think ppl realize how this whole thing is a matter of timing and a few days off can mean the difference btwn getting pg and not.
I'm so happy for you! for a BFP soon!

Hi! Yes the set up is/was tricky! The testing window sounds good. You are able to change anything up till CD 5 I believe. Also I believe the first day you have to use a pad or tampon is CD...so hopefully that helps.

Thanks Jen!! I am guessing since it measures hormone levels that it should not make a difference if I am a day or two off but who knows. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this works. I appreciate your help.
