Would you give two weeks notice to
a job that you were only there for less than 6 months? Also, not sure it would go on the resume bc it's a job that the person was overqualified to do.. WWYD?

Re: Would you give two weeks notice to
1) yes, two weeks notice because they have to find someone to replace you. Also you never know when you may need that job for a reference down the road.
2) in this economy I would put it on the resume. It shows that the person was willing to work during a tough economic time and continued to pursue his/her career.

Re: Would you give two weeks notice to
Definitely! This actually just happened to me. I've been at my job since 2 days before Thanksgiving- and gave my notice (3 weeks notice, actually) last week.

agreed. give the notice, it's the professional thing to do. and keep it on your resume. you'll have to explain the gap anyway, and include it on your application for background check purposes

Re: Would you give two weeks notice to
Absolutely. You never want to burn bridges.
Former supervisors from current employers often turn up in other places.
You also never know----I've heard of people leaving certain places for a variety of reasons and then applying back there later for various reasons.
