Maintaining Certification
I teach in a private school & am responsible for reporting my own workshop hours to maintain my professional cert.
I just wanted to know IF you can count workshops or professional days that were during school time.
What about faculty meetings?
Can all these things be counted?

from what I understand faculty meetings, no ,but professional development days, yes. I have to call back the doe bc its so hard to get someone to give you a straight answer.

Professional Development during or after school - yes
Grading State Assessments - Yes
Grad/Online/Prof Dev. Courses - Yes

Also as long as you do the 175 hours your cert just stays active, right? They don't send a new cert, right?

I think if you do something PD related they do.
