If you have a dog and a cat
I leave dry food out for my cat all day. She grazes. If you also do that, where do you keep the dish so that the dog doesn't get it?
Right now we have an odd set up but we have to rearrange the room so I need a new idea.

we have a window perch that we keep her food up on. she jumps up to eat.

I put Ozzy's cat food on top of the cat condo. He has to climb up to eat it and Casey cant get to the food. It's exercise for him too

we leave the cat food on our kitchen counter... the problem though is that the cats LOVE dog food!!!

we have a backroom that we have a baby gate on. the cat jumps the gate to eat and use his litter. Our dog also eats litter in addition to the cats food
but now that backroom will be a nursery soon and the cat stuff will be moved to the basement. His food and litter will be down there but we have a door to the basement with a lil kitty door that the dog cannot fit in
