Re: i need help.. napping

i started putting them on a schedule around 6 months. They took naps at 9am and 1pm. They did this until around 15 months, and went to one nap at 12:30pm - which we still do now at 20.5 months.

I think a schedule is a must with twins. Its the only way you'l get any time to yourself!

Re: i need help.. napping

We fell into a schedule and it so far has worked real well.

They eat breakfest at like 8 am ( wake 6:30-7:00 ish) and go for a nap right after breakfest ( 8:145-8:30) ...They go in awake. I get them dressed for the day, put on a baby DVD , turn the Fan on and lay them down, they usually are asleep in minutes.

They nap till 10:00-11:00

Then Lunch is at 12:00 and 2nd Nap is about 12:45. They sleep till 2:30 ish.....Same routine.

Unfortunatly nighttime is a disaster for us Chat Icon

Re: i need help.. napping

at 4 months my gf gave me the best suggestion. She mentioned about every 2 hrs they nap. So they were up at 7am, napped at 9, up around 10:30, napped at 12:30, etc. That worked wonders.
I did that till about 6-7 months and then they were up for 3-4 hours before nap.
A schedule really helps with twins because I felt if I could get them organized it would help me be organized.
Good luck!

very similar for us. The time they can be awake will slowly get longer. Around 9 months they went to 2 naps, around 13-14 months to 1
