Phone call today...

So, today of all days United Health Care called me at work, on my birthday to congratulate me on my pregnancy. I just said I wasn't anymore and burst into tears. I couldn't even speak I was just so shocked. Her response, oh sorry I will take you off the list. Have a great day! Have a great day? Are you serious? I know she had no way of knowing but it was just out of left field. I'm no longer taking calls from the insurance company at work that's for sure!

Now about that phone call... "Have a nice day"?!?!? How insensitive!!!!!!!! I bet she felt really bad/awkward and didn't know what to say at that point... but still!!!!!

It actually reminds me of when one of my drs offices called about a prenatal appt and I told them it wasn't necessary because I was having a D&E and the person said "oh ok thank you" ... umm I just expected a little more considering they were a drs office I had been working with for several weeks

hope your birthday was ok anyway. i was miscarrying on my bday this year and i couldnt wait for it to be over. im so sorry!!
