update; first ultrasound measuring small
So i had my first ultrasound and after avoiding a complete meltdown the tech finally showed me the heartbeat (thank god) but just as i went to breathe out she told me the baby is measuring about 4 days smaller than calculated...so back to freaking out again...is this familiar to anyone???? holding my breath...

Stay calm and try to take things one day at a time. I know that is a familiar sound for most of us, but that does not mean it will happen again. I believe in mind over matter. So stay positive.

I miscarried 2x, and my 3rd pregnancy I was measuring behind the whole time. Everything ended up being fine. Hang in there, I know it's rough.

I measure a week behind on my first pregnancy which I miscarried.
But I hear measuring behind happens often and it's not necessarily indicative of a problem.

This time the baby was 3 days behind at the first appointment. The next appointment it was 1 day ahead of what I thought. It is so small when they measure it if they move the pointer even a tiny bit it changes the days measurement. Try not to worry. The heartbeat is important.

I measured behind at my first appt and am now 33 weeks! 4 days isn't bad you could've ovulated later than you thought! hang in there!

I measured small and a week behind with my first pregnancy and I miscarried at 8 weeks.
Unfortunatley, we weren't all that shocked considering it's heartbeat was only 109.
It's so sad that it is out of our hands, but try to hang in there and pray for the best.

UPDATE:
so i went for the second sono today and the baby has caught up!! strong heartbeat (around 160) Dr. is thrilled and I am breathing a little bit easier!! Thank you for all you prayers and good wishes...please keep them coming!!!! Next sono in 4 weeks for the neuchal fold screening!!
