When you turn on your Nook go to your BN Library and click "Check for new content" and it should download and install.
If that doesn't work you can download the upgrade to your computer and then drag onto the Nook, let me know if you need the instructions, BN has a video that is good.

I down loaded the sw but now I'm having issues getting a book to open. Has anyone else had a problem?

What kind of book? Library epub? B&N purchased? Purchased somewhere else?
Whatever they did to increase the crispness of the font - also great! I haven't tried bookshelves yet.

Mine just installed itself...page turning is great and I see now that when I go to look @ a library book it tells me what page out of the total that I'm on. So great!
