Dog boarding?
My husband and I are about to move to Babylon, and will be going on vacation in a few months. We normally bring our dog to Camp Bow Wow where we live, but the closest one is in Long Island City.
I'd like to bring her somewhere closer, so I can drop her off for a few daytime stays before we go away so she can get comfortable. Does anyone have recommendations? Ideally it would be a place that has sleeping accommodations and group play areas for the dogs. I found this place which looks great, but I don't know anyone who has used it: http://www.bestinshowpetresort.com
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Maddie goes to day camp twice a week at Petsmart (in Huntington but she's been to the one in Farmingdale a few times too) and will be boarded soon for the first time. I will post how it went!

Not much closer, but there's a place called Barrie's Inn in Woodmere. You can watch them live on the computer!
