Re: WWYD

absolutely....

the worst that could happen is that she says no... does it cost her anything to write the scrip for you?

Thank you. She will def. not say no. I honestly dont think any vet can say no if its a medication that the dog has been prescribed. She writes scripts for her other clients all the time but she is of course not happy about doing it yknow. It doesnt cost her anything. Thanks again for your opinion.

Re: WWYD

Thanks. This is what I was thinking too. I was thinking she may cut me a deal since I am asking for a script however, I am 100% sure it still wont beat the price I get online.

i agree! what can it hurt? if she seems offended or angry tell her you simply cannot afford the meds at the price you've been paying but want to do the right thing for your furbaby, so you need to get them at the cheapest price possible and that's online!

ITA. And if she did get offended, she'd have no right to.

Re: WWYD

I don't think they can legally force you to purchase the medication through them. I've gotten a prescription from the vet and filled it at CVS!

I know. She cannot say no to me, that is not my problem. My issue is that I work for her and I feel well, kinda strange asking for a script to buy it elsewhere yknow? If I were just a client of hers I would have no issue asking for it.

Re: WWYD

I would ask for the script. Try http://www.diamondbackdrugs.com/

My vet's office recommended them and they have the best prices. They're based out of Arizona and ALL the people there are super nice and sweet. They let me talk to the pharmacist when I had questions about my dog's anti seizure meds. They even matched the price of his meds with Target.
