summer school spinoff
do you work in the summer? (besides summer school)
if so, what do you do? i'm thinking of doing something but i dont know what

I have always worked summer school (for five years) but since  is due in March, I will finally NOT be working summer school!

I have always worked at a day camp. It is longer hours and more weeks, but it is much more FUN!!! I met my DH working there and now our son goes there!

Same here! My summer school is the academic portion of a day camp and the peanut is due in May, so I am REALLY looking forward to finally having summers off!

I usually tutor, but I live way out East so all the people from the city come out for the summer and contact our school to look for tutors. I think at a lot of the private schools in the cities, it's a requirement to have x number of tutoring hours over the summer and many of the parents just like to keep their kids busy.

ive done summer school for the past 3 years- middle school. the money is awesome considering the hours, but it is godawful & id rather be a prostitute than do it ever again.
seriously though, i think i will look for either tutoring work or part time something for over the summer bc my dh works crazy long hours in the summer & ill need a little something to break up the beach
