I haven't posted about it in a while, but I shared that we were going for full custody of my SS. Well........................they saw through her lies and found that we are the better environment for him so he will stay with us!!!!
ladies, do not give up hope, if a mother isn't making the right choices by her child, the father does have a chance in court!

I'm new here so I don't know the circumstances of your situation, but that is amazing to me because it really makes me hopeful that maybe one day things could work out it our favor. Good to see the system finally worked for the benefit of the child.

my advice....
DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT - your memory will fade with dates and times, but the written record will never fail. if something doesn't sound right, it usually isn't - trust your gut!

thanks ladies...it really surprised us b/c although we knew he'd have a better life with us, we never expected the courts to see through her lies and it was amazing that they picked up on all of the things we felt...
i'm still shocked, as is my husband b/c we were hoping that they'd see the truth but were really doubtful that we could ever get the custody reversed....it really is inspirational b/c along the way we met so many defeated fathers and heard so many bad stories that we thought we were destined to be one of the many, however, things worked out for HIS (SS) best interests and we are so happy and relieved.
