Feeling dizzy

Anyone else feel like this? I recently started running, and when I ran on Friday, I came home and have felt kinda dizzy all weekend Chat Icon I'm also doing WW...

On Friday I did something stupid, I ate almost nothing all day to save my points for a big dinner out, and was beyond stuffed when I came home Fri night

I don't know, maybe I just screwed myself up with eating/working out these past few days to make myself feel like this?

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Re: Feeling dizzy

Make sure you always having at least something small in your stomach before exercising. Never exercise on a completely empty stomach.

As for what to do now? Start over. Today is a new day. Plan out your meals, times, and exercises. Go slow and don't jump into it all at once.

Re: Feeling dizzy

Make sure you are well hydrated. If you are just starting to run, sometimes it's easy to forget to take in substantially more fluids. If I am dehydrated, I will sometimes feel funky for a bit.

It sounds like it's just something new to your body. Listen to your body though--it's sending you some pretty strong messages--don't run again without proper nutrition and hydration. It's not worth feeling lousy afterwards.Chat Icon

It does sound like the lack of food, but could you be breathing too hard as well? A slow training pace should be three strides for every breath. 2 for tempo speeds and 1 for all out sprints (think Usain Bolt, not 5Ks)
