Anyone feel dizzy or faint?
Hi ladies!
Does anyone else feel dizzy or faint? I'm 19 weeks pregnant with my twins and I'm going back to the doctor next week for my Level II sono. During the past week I have felt so sick that I thought I was going to pass out. I'm eating small meals throughout the course of the day and drinking plenty of fluids. I'm a middle school math teacher and I'm finding it so difficult to work lately because I'm always light-headed. I'm constantly on my feet and can't really teach the material sitting down. When I went to the doctor for my 16 week appointment, I had told her that I was constantly short of breath. She mentioned that this was because of the increased blood flow in my body. Now it's so out of hand. Does anyone else have similar symptoms? Are you finding it difficult to work? My first trimester was so easy...I'm struggling to get through the second one.

Re: Anyone feel dizzy or faint?
YES!!! Once my second trimester came I was always short of breath especially after talking for a while. I felt dizzy a lot and I was told it was the pressure on my vena cava???? Some kind of restriction with thr blood flow I think. In fact, I found out because I almost fainted during a sonogram and my perinatologist told me it was completely normal and to just lay on my left side whenever it happened and that would relieve the pressure which it did! HTH

Re: Anyone feel dizzy or faint?
At about 30 weeks I went through a period of vertigo like symptoms. It was horrible. I was dizzy with headaches all the time and ended up dehydrated in the hospital twice because the dizziness was making me vomit. Be careful!
