Swimming Lessons
Did any of you take your twins (or triplets, Paula!) for swimming lessons?
DH refuses to go w/ me. (I think he can't swim well himself, but won't admit it!)
I assume you need 2 adults?
How did it work out for you?

Re: Swimming Lessons
I literally just came on here to ask the same thing!! I wish I could find a class for moms with multiples or something.

Re: Swimming Lessons
I signed DH and DD up for daddy and me swim classes and I saw instructors helping or taking other babies around. I'm sure you could arrange that.

Re: Swimming Lessons
When my twins were about 2 my DH and I did a swimming class with them. We both definitely needed to be there and in the water with them. That was offered through the town. We just signed them up for Saf T Swim and they each get their own instructor, no need for us to be in the water.

Re: Swimming Lessons
i have only done the YMCA SKIP program - but not sure how it works for twins but when you sign up one child up -two parents can attend and one sibling i would recoommend having another adult - alot of the pools you can walk the entire thing so there is no need to swim - my mom would go with me a lot

Re: Swimming Lessons
i took my older DS to swim lessons and there were twin girls there who went the same time as him. the mom was always there by herself. they were 2 1/2 when they started. i would think it would be hard if they were any younger. this was at safe-t-swim so they were in the water with an instructor but she had to bring them to the changing room and dress them by herself. the floors get slippery so i would only take my twins when they were steady on their feet and could walk to the changing room.
