anyone ever take a kettlebells class?
DH signed us up for a Kettlebell conditioning class at our gym tonight and I am nervous about how intense it will be. Has anyone ever taken a class like this? How sore should I expect to be for the next few days?

I've never taken a kettlebell class but I use the kettlebell for alot of excercises, esp. in my boot camp class. It definatly gives you a great workout and helps tone.

OMG I got back about an hour and a half ago and let me tell you it was ROUGH!!! I was ready to quit after 10 minutes and then spent the next 50 minutes trying not to die I feel so sore I can hardly walk but sooo good at the same time! I don't think I've ever worked out that hard.

Your post made me laugh. That's how I feel about most of my workouts w my PT. I gave a set if kettlebells and a DVD in the box. How heavy were the bells you used?

Yes! and it was tough! I actually enjoyed it though since it is good to do something "different" with your body and I felt like it was working on muscles that were never or rarely worked before

I feel the same way in some of my gym classes! Glad you made it thru! How was your DH feeling after the class?

He felt good but is feeling really sore now too. He thinks he will sign up for the 8 week session they're offering. As for me, I think I'll stick to my elliptical machine....it was a little too hardcore for me
