Need Energy

Ok, I am almost5 months post pardum and I still have so much to lose, I think i actully gained some weight Chat Icon

My eating habits are horrible, I LOVE food, we just boguth a new treadmill a month ago went on it twice, I work full-time and am exhausted by the time my daughter goes to bed.

Are there any vitamins like B-6 that can help me boost some energy? Do those appetite supressors work?

I am really depressed about it, I want to be back to 136lbs Chat Icon lets just say I am wayyyy over that.

Any Advice! Chat Icon

Re: Need Energy

I find the best thing for my energy is to cut out all refined sugar and cut back on dairy a lot. Gives me such a boost.

And an added bonus to cutting refined sugar is that I find I am less hungry.

Re: Need Energy

I find that exercising in the morning is so much easier because you have the most energy. Can you exercise before work? Since you have the treadmill at home, at least you don't have to go far to exercise, like if you had to go to the gym.

Re: Need Energy

I take a B complex vitamin I think it helps. Have you considered going to your Dr. for a physical? Maybe you are anemic or have a vitamin B12 deficiency. It may also help to keep a food diary. I know when I keep track of what I am eating it makes me think twice about having something high calorie. A lot of girls on this board are on WW and seem to really love it. It would help you track your intake and provide support.

Re: Need Energy

I agree with the morning workout or on days that you can't do that then a walk on lunch break (if possible).
