Scheduled c-section question
If you had a repeat c-section, at what point in your pregnancy was your c-section scheduled? Meaning, how many weeks were you going to be on your c-section date?

At 26 weeks my OB scheduled my c-section for exactly 39 weeks. He then followed up with "This is just protocol but I do not think you will go that far being you are carrying twins".

my dr said he wouldn't schedule anything until after 38 weeks then said he knew I was never going to make it that far so he didn't schedule anything.

My c-section was scheduled for 37w 5d and my water actually broke that morning so I wound up just having my c-section earlier in the day then planned.

mine was going to schedule at 38 weeks, but he knew i was never going to go that far. so i started having contractions and i took the procardia until 36 weeks and he told me i would go into labor in the next 24 hours and sure enough i did!!!

They scheduled me for 39 weeks.
Around 33-34 weeks wen I started the contractions they moved it to 38 weeks.
Had an "emergency" c-section at 36w6days due to preeclampsia.

38.5 weeks. And as much as I hoped to go earlier toward the end, that is exactly when I delivered.

Thanks again, ladies. I just found out my c-section is scheduled for April 28th. I will be 38w4d and hope to get there. We shall see!
