Upper body work out
So I started my work out regime last week - I was on day three of the treadmill and I took a fall and broke a bone in my ankle. I am now wearing a boot and will be in that for about 6 weeks. To say I am pizzed off is an understatement.
I REALLY wanted to be in shape for this summer. I have about 12lbs to lose and I need to really tone my lower area. I do need to work on my tummy area but are there any exercises that I can do that will help that area without affecting my broken bone? sit ups?
Can I lose weight without cardio?
Any advice for working out from the knees up?
Thanks

Re: Upper body work out
You can ABSoLUTELY lose weight without cardio. I lost the majority of my weight exercising 3 days a week (weight training and 20 minutes of cardio each day). Your diet needs to be SUPER clean and in check. 90% of weight loss is diet.

Re: Upper body work out
We do boxing sometimes during boot camp...its pretty much all upper body and its a crazy workout. It can probably be modified as well so you arent putting much pressure on your hurt foot. I have a bad knee and I can do it no problem.
