I thought this would be helpful, at least for me, Chat Icon, since NY and NJ differ in some ways in regards to policies and practices. Also, it would great to get recommendations if we're near each other. Or to GTG even?

I live in Bergen county and DS is 25 months. No diagnosis but does not have any words at all yet. He receives Speech 2x a week and has been getting OT 2x a week since about 16 months. OT was originally to increase his concentration, attention span, eye contact, receptive language. He's now great at all those things but they want to maintain it and would not grant me speech (which he just was approved for) without keeping them.

Would love to get to know the other jersey moms on here so we can share resources. Oh, and if this has been done already on this board I apologize, I didn't see anything. Chat Icon
