Braxton Hicks...
Im 30 weeks and I have been getting them A LOT the past couple of days. Does this mean anything. My doc told me that if I dont get 10 in an hour then its not to worry and if they are not painful. I have gotten up to 8. I have no pain just get a VERY tight belly and then it releases. It feel uncomfy but i cant say painful.
It scaring me that I might go really early. It too arly for these little girls to come.

Re: Braxton Hicks...
Are you seeing a HR? I had braxton hicks a lot and had to have a cerclage at 24.5 weeks and be put on procardia to stop contractions. But I was definately having more than 10 an hour sometimes. You can call your dr just to give yourself peace of mind. That's what they are there for and if it's making you nervous, you can even ask to be seen. Tell them it's making you uncomfortable. My dr said to call if I was having more than 8-10 in an hour. Mine were definately more than that berfore I started taking procardia and had the cerclage.

Re: Braxton Hicks...
I agree with Luckysmom....even though its prob fine I would let the doctor know that you are having a lot of them and you are worried. Most likey he will just check your cervix and put your mind as ease.

Re: Braxton Hicks...
hey girls I didnt want to leave u all hanging. Im ok though. I ended up sleeping through the night and take it really easy the next day and i felt better. I realize that i get a lot more BH when I do too much in a day. I guess im not used to what i do being considered too much since its FAR from my normalcy. I did call the doc just to let him know and he did tell me that if I start to have them again so often to call him and go into the hosp to be monitored. Thankfully I haven't so I just need to learn to take it easy more.

Re: Braxton Hicks...
I used to get them bad when I was dehydrated. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

Re: Braxton Hicks...
Hey girl it's been awhile since I've been on here ... First off congrats on your ! So exciting! I am 30 week 2 days now and I too get Braxton hicks a lot. Also if I over exert myself. Doc told me it's normal and checks my cervix every 2 weeks...it's been fine. "cervix of steel" they say lol. You should be fine as long as you are not dilating. But any worries just call your doc.
How have u been feeling otherwise? Hope all is well.
