I bet the problem most Long Island homeowners have is their need to drive (and lease) expensive cars.
They have a never ending car payment which really takes a toll on the monthly budget.
People feel they MUST have super large SUVs because godforbid they have two or more kids when a smaller (cheaper) sedan would do the job.
People are putting over $1000 a month between car & insurance payments, and they wonder why they are in the red every month.
