A really gross, TMI, BM question

I am so embarrassed to ask this.



I have noticed recently that when I have a BM there is white mucus in it- it almost looks like fat deposits. I also have what I think its a hemoroid that I had when I was pregnant. I am not sure if the 2 are related. I don't have any other symptoms- I am pretty "regular"

Has anyone ever had this?

do you have pain etc???

for me sometimes white is fat from food i eat....or medications.

if you dont have pain/discomfort i would guess it was nothing to worry about. as far as the roid goes.... ususally it will be painful or burning and maybe bleed. not sure if those are connected.

what medications are you on?

It could be the plant-based cellulose remains of a slow release capsule (think a drug like metformin ER or a similar slow release drug)

It's a very common occurance if you google it.

i have IBS and a gluten sensitivity and this happens to me a lot, esp when i eat a lot of foods with gluten
