I just started back to the gym so i'm a little out of shape after doing nothing for a couple weeks. I got in 2 miles on the treadmill today before DD had a dirty diaper and I had to leave.
I am averaging about a 15 minute mile as of right now. Not running the whole time- I have to work up to that.
Just curious what others can do.
This is where I'm at with a run/walk combo. My goal is to work toward a 10 min mile.
Right now my first goal is to be able to run an entire 5K. Once I can do that then I will work on speed.

I recently started running & average a 12:30 mile if I'm doing a 5k.

during my last half marathon I averaged 9:48 per mile. Took me a while to get up to that pace!

I JUST got back from the gym..ran 4 miles in 34 minutes. That averages out to 8.5 minutes/mile. I think when i started running again last year i was doing a 10 minute mile.

I am doing a 10min mile when running for 4miles-less if it one mile. I just started running last week and I never have run in my life. I am determined to improve that

Depends on the distance - short distance - 9:00-9:30, long, up to 12 minutes!!!

I just began paying attention to my mileage and time..my miles turn out being about 12-13min each. Im hoping to get better...I never ran for time and miles before so this is a first for me as well as Ive just began taking on a healthier way of life.
