Cat urine smell - suddenly so strong
Everytime Bella uses the litter, the smell is just so over powering. Its awful. And since I am pregnant , I can't change the litter. I have to wait for DH to come home.
(And no, its not my heightened sense of smell from the pg. DH smells it too)
Has this happened to anyone. This has been happening for maybe a week.

The only advice I can give (and you can keep it a secret if you want  is that pregnancy doesnt have to stop you from changing the litter if you have an indoor cat

I used to put baking soda in the kitty litter, it helped and it was an inexpensive solution. ANd I changed it every single day.

I notice this when my dogs don't drink enough water. It's extremely yellow and extremely potent.

Are you using a new brand of litter? Ironically, I found that Arm & Hammer brand litter is the worst at masking odors.

We actually use Arm & Hammer, I have used it for years and never had a problem up until recently.
I have tried other litters in the past and always went back to A&H

She has been on the same food for months. I switched it maybe like 5 or 6 months ago?
Also - I assume she's drinking enough water. She shares the water dish with my dog and it always has water in it.
