Any ideas for a first birthday gift?
I was thinking about personalizing a bookshelf/hook combo...any suggestions?

My sister in law made my daughter years ago, book ends out of blocks, that spelled her name
If I remember correctly she started with the name on the bottom and then staggered the blocks to a point at top
Ex: if you have 8 blocks on bottom, then do 7,6,5,4,3,2,1.

totally! you can paint a plain one and cover it with small wall stickers, then modge podge over it. i did this for DD1 and it is super fabulous! i didn't like the ones on the market b/c they were too "hokey", IMO.
