Both my parents are readers, especially my mother. My house growing up was literally filled with books. My parents moved to a smaller house a few years ago and every available space is taken up by a bookshelf. Ever since the first time we visited my parents in their new home, my DH has been trying to get me a Nook, lol!

My mother is as big a reader as I am...probably where I got it from. My Dad likes to read, but mostly listens to audio books during his commute. SD reads every night (we read her a chapter from a higher level book, she reads to us on her level). DH is not really a big reader at all...I've only ever seen him read for school.
