Does this happen to anyone else's male dog? Penis stuck out.
I have no idea what to do.
His penis keeps getting stuck out I brought him to the vet yesterday to fix it and the vet thought it was a fluke because he is 7 and it's never happened before. By this morning it was stuck out again. The skin gets stuck back and it gets all dry and yucky looking. It doesn't seem to bother him but it looks gross and when I looked it up online I read it can cause infections, etc.
After it happened again this morning I called the vet and they said to put some KY or Vaseline on it and try to pull the skin back over it but I couldn't. I have to bring him back to the vet again and I know it will happen again as soon as we leave.
Has this happened to anyones male dog before? What do they do to fix it?

I think it is called something like paraphimosis.

Wow. I didn't know this could occur in dogs. I've seen it happen to a human though and it's not pretty and apparently, extremely painful. I suppose it's not the same for dogs, but yikes.

My male's does pop out if he sits a certain way but always goes back in. What does the vet say?

Oh my. 
I have no advice, I'm just very happy I have a female dog right about now
Hope your pup is OK and the vet can figure out what's going on

He told me to put some KY on it and try to unroll the skin I paid $72 for a 5 min vet visit. I certainly can't take him every day to fix this.
