I am just starting to research my Dads side of the family. Last night I was able to find my great great grandparents. I found the census with their actual signatures on them. So cool! All of my search is going to be in Ireland, I haven't been able to find anymore info but I have just started. My Aunts are going to help me & they hopefully will know a ton of info.

ive thought about doing this... i just dont know if have enough information or if i will see it through once i start... i did pay for a subscription on ancestry.com a while ago and i wasnt able to find my grandparents so i never went any further...

im going to talk to my parents to get more info out of them... my mom has a paper with a lot of names from my dads side... its a lot easier to track them down because our last name isnt super popular...
but on my moms side it will be harder... i went to Ireland a few years ago and when they asked where in Ireland my moms family was from and what the last name is... they said oh thats like being a Smith in America... lol
