So, many of you probably know that genealogy is a passion of mine....
I, Mary, mob, have just received an invitation to give a talk at my hometown historical society!!!!  I hope my menopausal brain is up to it!!! Yikes, I'm thinking, how am I gonna talk for 20 minutes, and these people know more about genealogy than I do!!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!  I mean, I haven't even done the hard stuff, like going to a courthouse, and looking up deeds, and stuff!!!!! I do most of my research, looking online, making phone calls, and praying for leads, the most important part!!!! THE LORD had done the rest!!!! Just wanted to share!!!! Thanks for reading!!! Mary

Yes, it is exciting!!!! I'm a bit intimidated!! Now I have to pull out my Dale Carnegie skills, from longgggggg ago. The guy who invited me said I'd be among friends , ahhhh, you and who else?  I need to calm down, and gather my thoughts. Thankfully, I have a ton of journals, that might help me remember who I've talked to in the past. Mary
