I'm shocked with my progress!
I just wanted to say that its not impossible to see fast results in running!
I ran my first run of the year in mid-April, finished a race in 37:35, a 9:23 minute mile. I started running a few times a week and have been pretty good about it, trying to run further, picking up my pace, etc.
Well today I just finished another 4 mile race (The Israel Run in Central Park) and I finished it in 35:25, a 8:53 mile pace... about TWO MINUTES faster!
I'm just so elated that I saw such progress in a month and a half! Its very motivating to keep it up !

great job! Wait until you do your next race and you keep moving up in corrals! I loved that motivation in nyrr races.
