Re: charlie horse in the calf..
Have you noticed any red/pink spots on your leg? Swelling or does it feel warm?

Re: charlie horse in the calf..
Eat banana's or drink oj. It could be a sign of low potassium. I get them all the time.. When you get one, lay down, put your leg straight out with your toes facing the ceiling and flex your foot towards your head..

Re: charlie horse in the calf..
Since you are on different meds, I'd say mention it to your doctor.
I was going to suggest the banana too. i know being sort of potassium can cause them.

OK that's good. The charlie horse feeling, spots, swelling and warmth are the signs of a blood clot. The charlie horse was my first indication so wanted to make sure you didn't have any other symptoms.
I agree with the other advice given of bananas, more water, and stretching.
If it's constant and doesnt get better in two or three days, I suggest going to the doctor to get it checked out just in case.

Re: charlie horse in the calf..
I feel bad for you, they are soo painful. If you stand on your tippy toes on the leg with the cramp, it will go right away. I learned that from my friend whose parents are both docotrs and it has been so helpful.
