NYC MINI 10K ... My 1st 10K story :)
My 1st 10K was this past Saturday in Central Park. The race was awesome. Well organized, lots of fun. My time was terrible. 1:15 
At 4 miles I was at 42:00, I was feeling great. After mile 4 I got a side cramp which really slowed me down. I never stopped to walk (although I wanted to) and the pain subsided after 1/2 mile .. thankfully.
The hills though in Central Park are brutal. My butt is still sore
Next up .. The Diva Half. I better get training .. someone please tell me the Diva is a flat course...

Great job!!  That's not a terrible time at all! And since its your first 10k its an automatic PR. 
Diva Half is pretty flat for the most part. I think I remember maybe a slight hill at one point- but its a very easy course overall. Maybe if I'm healed by then I'll do it.
