Vegetarians!
Any other vegetarians out there that have trouble with beans causing weight gain?
I've been on Sparkpeople for many years but recently started following their suggested recipes which are bean heavy.
For some reason, beans are causing me to either stall or gain weight.
I do eat fish, so that helps with weight loss, but I can't eat it every day!
Any other alternatives? Soy products/Tofu/Regular Beans all do the same thing for me. Ugh.

That's surprising to me, I wouldn't think beans would cause a stall in weight loss or weight gain. Are you sure it's the beans? Could it be something else, like maybe dairy? I have no problems with weight loss eating beans, but I eat no dairy, soy or nuts (BFing and DS has allergies).
ETA: I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, I do eat grassfed beef about once a week (pork & chicken about 1x a month).

It's only when I have beans. In fact I had them yesterday and gained 2 pounds. It's so weird. Happens every time.

That's strange, because I'm vegetarian, though I do eat fish, and I never seem to gain weight from beans.
My normal day is this:
Breakfast - 0% greek yogurt w/granola Snack - Fruit or nuts Lunch - Salad with tuna or egg or beans or tofu with nuts and balsamic vinegar Snack - Fruit or nuts Dinner - Grilled fish with veggies
Some other dinner options: Shakshuka (a traditional Israeli egg dish) Egg burritos Vegetarian chili Vegetarian spaghetti w/meatballs (trader joes makes the best veggie meatballs) Salmon burgers Shrimp w/pasta Egg schnitzel Hummus, pita, Israeli salad with Labane and hard boiled eggs

Are you eating canned beans? If you are, it's probably from the sodium. I cook the beans myself in the crockpot to avoid the high sodium (and preservatives).

I don't eat a lot of beans. I toss a few chick peas in my salad. But eating too much of anything can interfere with weight loss. It's quantity that is key!

Do you eat canned beans? Could it be bloating? I remember reading somewhere that when you make your own beans (soak them, and then change the water to cook them), it rinses off/gets rid of whatever can cause gas/bloating. I eat a LOT of beans and don't have an issue (at the moment at least) with weight gain.
