NERVOUS

I have a 10K in Central Park this Saturday. The full outer loop. I have never done this before. I have done a 10K partially through the park and Ive done some other races in the park but never the full loop.

Ive been injured. So I havent run in two weeks. I ran two days ago for 1 mile and yesterday for 2.5 and I felt okay but not close to where I should feel.

ugh, Im nervous.

If you're still not feeling 100% I would DNS. There are so many other races out there. If you do decide to do it- good luck! Just be careful! Chat Icon

What does DNS stand for?

I cant not go because Ive raised a lot of money for this race. Too many people donated for me and Im not flaking on it. Do you think though that 2 weeks off is going to seriously affect my ability to run straight through? Those CP hills are ridiculous. Bleh.

DNF= Did not finish

Honestly, you could always go and just run/walk. No need to shoot for a PR. Just have fun!

Before my first half I was hurt and only ran 2 miles in the week and half before and I ran one of my best races.
