Re: Diet Plans..NEED HELP!!!
I would start by tracking your intake for a few days. I like using fitday.com- It is free and very user friendly. It will help you track your calories and macronutrients. As a rule I aways try to pair carbohydrate with lean protein. Personally I try to eat five to six small meals a day. I would start by making small changes that you can live with- For example cutting sugar out of your coffee.

I completely agree!! Small changes are the way to go! Lots of veggies and lean proteins!

Re: Diet Plans..NEED HELP!!!
Thanks! I think I am going to go back on the diet I was doing when I was losing weight for the wedding. I lost 35 pounds in 6 months. Of Course I gained it all back and this is the heaviest I have ever been. I feel so discusted with myself!!
For breakfast I had yogurt and fruit or egg whites with candian bacon. Sometimes I would have one of those Atkins shakes instead
For Lunch Lean Cusine with a salad
In between I would have a cup of fruits, nuts.
Regular dinner without the starches and another salad.
If I wanted to dessert..a skinny cow or an eddy's fruit bar.
I think this may be a good start for me but I think I am grow tired of Lean Cusines very fast. Maybe a tuna salad in a bell pepper would be good.
Oh yeah lots and lots of water I drank and cut out all the soda, sweet tea and ice cream!!!
Thoughts anyone??

Re: Diet Plans..NEED HELP!!!
I would prepare lunch if you can personally I try to stay away from packaged meals. Lean proteins are good- beef, chicken and fish are all good choices. You do not have to eliminate your carbohydrates at dinner just measure everything to keep track of serving sizes. Another thing to keep in mind is that yogurt and fruit has more carbohydrate then protein so you may find that on the days you have that for breakfast you are less satisfied. Try to eat every four hours or so to keep your metabolic rate up. I would try to find a healthy eating plan you can stick to there is no reason to cut out everything you enjoy.

Re: Diet Plans..NEED HELP!!!
Try avoiding the word "diet" and find a plan that promotes healthy, steady weight loss. You also want to focus on feeding your body well especially if you are trying to conceive. Your body needs nutrition from all the macronutrients..the main thing to focus on is portion sizes and proper food choices. In order to lose weight, you need to burn more than you take in, so keeping track of how much and how often you eat is the main focus. If you would like more info on a healthy plan that will not only help you lose weight but keep it off please send me a FM. You also want to ensure that once you are pregnant your weight gain is appropriate so that you can continue to stay healthy even after baby . Good luck!

Re: Diet Plans..NEED HELP!!!
Exercise and smart, healthy choices is the only way to go.
Jillian Michaels has a great book called "Making the Cut" with a great diet plan and exercise routine. Maybe check that out.
