WOW. Youre all so inspiring!!! Im training for a half (my 1st) and my longest run has been ~6.5 and I just kept thinking Im not even half way to my goal and already its so hard!!!
Any words of wisdom??
congrats on training for a half!! what worked best for me when prepping for my first half was to basically tell everyone i was running it. that gave me so much accountability because since everyone knew i was doing it, there was no way i'd drop out or not finish.
it's also really important that you stick to a training plan to help you build endurance and not get injured. i found it easiest to do shorter workouts in the AM to get them over with.
good luck with training!
