Another temp question...
I went away for the weekend and brought the themometer with me....all month my temps were between 97.5 and 97.6. Sat. morning (day 12) it went up to 97.9 the next day, it dropped to 96.9 (the day I was away) and this morning is back to 97.9...should I just assume the 96.9 was because I was away and maybe not sleeping as well and discard it...I'm so confused........

Are you TTC? What day of your cycle was the dip? Have you ovulated yet?

We are TTC...it was day 13 of my cycle...I generally ovulate between day 11 - 13... the day before was the first increase in temp and then the drop and today its back up.
Here's the chart.

some women have a drop before O or right when they O. So it's hard to tell. The next two temps will be telling that's for sure. I would keep on BD'ing!

usually a drop in temp is the day before you O but you won't see that pattern until 3 or 4 days later because FF won't give you and O date until 3 consecutive high temps. Don't discard the temp but note on FF that you had disturbed sleep if you did. Do you use OPK's? I always used a combination of analyzing CM, OPK's and temping-although I stopped temping because my temps never varied too much. Good luck
