I just found out today that my Mom has been diagnosed with Rectal Cancer. It found during a colonoscopy. Tomorrow she goes for a ultrasound to see if it has spread. We will know more on Friday. I am just devastated....
Update - Well the dr called and said that nothihg has spread (Thank God). Whats really weird is that the biopsy came back as not cancerous but the dr still feels it is (?) She has to go for an another ultrasound of the area next week at Stony Brook and we will know more then. Ugh this is so confusing... Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers, I truly appreciate it..
