Do your kids brush before or after they eat breakfast?
I want them to come to the breakfast table dressed and all cleaning complete. Too much to ask for?

We brush after breakfast is over. It's pretty much the last thing we do before we head out for the bus stop. This way she smells good for her teacher, lol!

After. Otherwise, they have all of their breakfast food in their mouth all day. Plus, toothpaste alters how food tastes, especially orange juice and milk....

Ditto! Drinking orange juice after you have brushed your teeth is just not a tasty combo!

After.
DS gets up, eats first, then teeth and then he gets dressed.
Food taste terrible after your brush. Also that way I know for sure he is leaving for school without food or toothpaste on his clothes.

When I get ready I never wait until after I eat to brush. Then again I never eat right away and don't like orange juice.
I'm just afraid of running out of time in the morning and then forgetting, which would be even worse.

My kids eat breakfast BEFORE they are washed and dressed so we definitely brush teeth after they have already eaten.

We do everything upstairs before coming down on a school day, just to make it quicker. Wash, brush, dress, hair. Then downstairs for breakfast. If we are running late, she can eat in the car. She doesn't drink OJ otherwise it might be different. And weekends when we have more time, after.

This is us too..
My kids each have their own alarm clock and once it goes off, they know they are to 1) brush their teeth and 2) make their beds.. I get up 1/2 hour before them and am pretty much ready and up to get them ready by the time they are done.. after that, they sit down and eat cereal; OJ only really on the weekends when I make a big huge breakfast (but during the week is cereal because they are obsessed with cereal) and then off they go!
