How hard is weight watchers if you dont like a bunch of stuff

Im joining tomorrow, and am really a picky eater.
I dont eat a bunch of crap, but do love food. Im not a fan of ANY seafood, tunafish included. I also cant swallow a veggie/ turkey burger. I love red meat, cant buy fake ie chicken sausage. Is this pointless for me to try it? Im desperate to loose weight, and hate lots of different food. Is this possible on WW?

I think that's a reason WW would be a good fit for you, because you can eat what you do like-- WW doesn't restrict or tell you to eat only certain things-- mostly focuses on portion sizes & encourages healthy eating.

I'm a very picky eater and don't eat alot of the things that you've listed nor would I ever try them. I was definitely a bit scared when I first went to WW and was thinking if I was going to be able to do it since I eat red meat will never give it up and I have a small circle of food that I actually eat.

I have successfully lost 47 pds on WW and have kept it off since 2008

I am an extremely picky eater (don't eat any seafood except tunafish, I don't eat pork, I don't really eat any red meat). I was on WW from Jan until recently and lost 54lbs. It's def doable even if you're a picky eater.

I do tend to eat the same thing almost every day though, but that doesn't bother me.

I am the same eater as you!!

I did WW before my wedding and lost 30 pounds. I could eat what I wanted, just different portions of it.

Well I joined this afternoon. Hopefully this will work, as I would LOVE to rock a Bikini next summer when we get a beach house. That is my goal for now anyway. You will be seeing a lot more of me around here.Chat Icon

Jenn, we joined 3 weeks ago (well, we bought the kit, anyway). I'm down 11.4 lbs. and Danny's down about 10! VERY doable! Do you like fruit?

Beth, I love fruit. Bought a bunch yesterday. im reading throught the points plus book on what each thing is, the thing thatbis going to kill me is Mexican food. Chat Icon Its a shame a taco is 10 points or something, but if I walk like a madman and earn my bonus points I can have it.

Don't forget that you also get 49 flex points each week! Those SAVE me every week, because there's always going to be a day or two where you are ravenous, or where you want to have something that's going to take you over your daily points. Pizza is a big one. But, definitely worth the points, at least to me. Is a taco really 10 points???

I though t younonly got those flex points if you earn them, active, run, walk etc? I havent used any as Im super full by dinner. I am having left over points daily, because its just to much to eat.

Nope. When they created the program, they actually figured out that you can have 7 more points per day than they actually give you. They took them and considered them part of your "flex bank" for the week. This way, you feel like you're getting away with something. For me, I need those flex points. I use every single one every week!
