Diocese of RVC teachers
Totally random question, but was wondering if anyone knows if Diocesan employees receive reduced or free tuition at a Catholic grammar school for their own children???? DH is considering the diaconate and was wondering if that might give us reduced tuition for our children. Although he will start the application process eventually and hopefully get in, but if being a deacon does give tuition assistance, he would apply sooner rather than later, if that makes sense.
ETA: please note he doesn't want to be a deacon just for reduced tuition! But, he would start the process earlier so the kids could benefit, if it's even available.

Re: Diocese of RVC teachers
My aunt was a teacher for the Diocese for years and her children did not receive a discount on grammar school. It was the school she taught at. They did not receive a discount for high school either.
From what I understand though, it may depend on the school.

Re: Diocese of RVC teachers
Not sure about deacons I am a teacher in the DRVC and there are no discounts that I know of if you send your child to a school in the diocese. It may depend on the school, but in all 3 schools I have worked in, no one got discounts.
