Re: Has anyone had a scare?
Don't be so quick to dismiss the possibility of a biological pregnancy after age 50...
According to this New York Magazine article, a bunch of 50+ women are actually getting pregnant and having babies!!! (through IVF most likely)

I'm not dismissing the possibility of pregnancy after 50--- Just dismissing it for me. If people want to do it I give them all the power in the world. But for me- I am looking forward to retiring in about 7 years. That would change all my plans.

Re: Has anyone had a scare?
I had one... Never tested and eventually got my period... It was a year before the wedding, right after we got engaged. First and only time I was ever late.
Isn't it funy how we spend all those younger years being so terrified of becomming pregnant and than one day it is ok if we get pregnant but the fear still remains in some form?? I think I am more scared now than when I was 18.

Actually I heard that women going through the beginning stages of menopauise are EXTREMEMLY fertile. So when you stop getting a regular aunt flo, your chances are higher of getting pregnant than at 34... CRAZINESS
