Has benadryl ever made your child crazy?
We gave DD childrens benadryl following the advice of her ped. NEVER AGAIN!!! I was nervous for her. She acted so peculiar, tantrums, screaming yelling, if anyone saw here they would have thought she has a psychiatric disorder  After a bit she snapped out of it and was fine, but I will never give it to her again

Dd bounces off the walls for an hour and then slips into a coma. Ds is a WILD MAN. I try not to give it to him ever. He is sensitive to dyes so I got the dye free but it didn't help. Thank goodness it was just for hives so it was short term. He had to take it for a week and it was a very very long week.

Sorry your DD had such a strong reaction!
Benadryl makes ME crazy, so I can sympathize. I feel as if I need to crawl out of my own skin, so restless and jumpy.
Hopefully you'll be able to find a better alternative for her!
