Cat needs his ears cleaned where can I take him?

My male cat started scratching his ears today and crying when he does it. DH checked his ears out and there are no fleas but he said the ears are pretty dirty. My SIL normally does it because she used to be a vet tech so she does all of our cat maintenance lol like nail clipping, ear washing, flea treatment, etc but they are getting ready to close on their condo and are really busy so I just want to take him somewhere. Do I have to go to the vet or does Petsmart do this?

If he is scratching his ears and crying I would take him to the vet this sounds like an ear infection.
