Parent Rant......
I can not stand when parents don't discipline their children, when they are obviously misbehaving. We went to DH parents' and one of SIL children was throwing a fit most of the night and just being very greedy/bossy, runny around all over the place. Instead of telling him no, she just left it up to everyone else. Her husband didnt even bother to look up from his phone to see what the problem was.
The same goes for her dogs......eating right off the dining room table. I felt bad for DH as he played doggy patrol for the night.
Its not my responsibility to baby sit your children. You give birth to them, their your responsibility.
I kinda felt bad today for DH b/c I stayed home instead of going back to their house today. I just can't deal with the chaos.

I am right there with you. I couldn't imagine not disciplining my kids and making others take care of them while I am right there.

Drives DH & me absolutely  when his sister & her Dh don't discipline our nephews. One kid is literally playing on the coffee table like it's a jungle gym & yelling while we sit and try and watch TV together & it's like they don't see anything. Thank god we only see them a few times a year. I do all I can to not scream at all of them!

Wow, that's incredibly annoying! I'd be pissed if my niece and nephews acted like that and my siblings acted like that and let their kids act like that. Oof!

My niece is great but occasionally throws fits or throws things and she thinks its hysterical. She gets the occasional stern "No" and the threatened "you're going in time out! " but it never happens. But she is the only girl and grandchild so she gets away with a lot. Don't agree with it, but its not my child, so keep my mouth shut.
