Do shelters take used pet beds?

Do shelters take used pet beds?
We got Murphy a new dog bed for Christmas and I would feel bad throwing away his old one if a shelter would take it and a dog that has nothing in its cage would be able to use it. Anyone know if they would take it? I pass by the West Islip shelter often enough. TIA

I'm not sure about shelters but what about a rescue group. I know that Brooklyn Animal Foster takes pet beds. I would call a local rescue group and see if they can use the pet bed.

I know that the Town of Hempstead shelter does. I'm pretty sure many others do too. It's so nice of you to think of donating!

I saw this ad on Craigslist this morning
HOLIDAY WISHLIST
We really need doggie beds for our rescued doggies!!!!
We would love to have dog beds from either sam's club or Costco......or any other will do just fine......
