Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
Hi ladies, I had my DS about 6 months ago and I am still trying to lose the last 10 lbs. I am trying to eat healthier and incorporate more protein into my diet. I was thinking of having hard boiled eggs for breakfast instead of my usual granola bar, but my question is do you just eat the whites or any of the yolk? And how many eggs? Sorry if this is a silly question but I am at a loss... Just really stuggling with how I look and how to get my body back!

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
On ww. 3 HB egg whites is 1pt.
so that is what I eat, No yolk.
I like egg whites and how they taste. Can add some spinach and peppers to spice it up.

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
My acupuncturist is a huge advocate for eating the whole egg. He says the yolk has some enzyme that's important for digesting the white and that the fats in the yolk are healthy, especially if you buy the omega eggs.
2 whole hard-boiled eggs are 150 calories. I find the fat from the yolk helps stave off hunger longer than white alone.
But to each her own.

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
i buy the cartons of egg whites and make that for breakfast. each sunday i make little "egg white muffins" in a muffin tin so they are all cooked, i just pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and they are ready to eat for the whole week!

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
I eat the whole egg too and I have 2-3 a day if not more. Eggs are the major staple in my diet. However I am only maintaining weight - not trying to lose. When I was working on losing the baby weight I would do one whole egg and whatever eggs over that 1 would be just the whites.

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
I eat so many eggs that I need to buy stock in them. I eat eggs daily. Ateast a yoke a day. When I want a big omlet then 1 whole egg and a few whites. The fats found in the yoke of the egg help keep you stisfied longer.

I make sure I eat one yolk a day...that is where all the nutrients are.

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
I eat 1 whole egg and the rest is white egg to complement.
The yellow part has all the "good" part too.

Re: Quick Question - Hard Boiled Eggs
I eat the whole egg, usually two if they are hard boiled and one with two or three egg whites if I'm scrambling them!

I would do one whole egg, and 2 egg whites on top of that.
