homemade dog treats

Does anyone have any good recipes? I made Peanut Butter ones today and Cosmo LOVES them! I tasted them too- kinda bland but probably because they are lacking sugar

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 TBSP baking powder
1 cup peanut butter (smooth only, please)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oatmeal

Directions:
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees and lightly greasing a baking or pizza pan.
In a medium mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder and oatmeal. Once that’s mixed, add the peanut butter and milk. Stir it together until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface, knead it and then roll it out until it’s about a 1/4? thick. Break out your cute bone-shaped cookie cutters or a pizza cutter and cut the dough into the desired size and shape.
Bake those on the lightly greased baking pan and cook for about 20 minutes or until they’re golden brown.
Once cool, let your favorite pup enjoy before storing them in an airtight jar (or resealable freezer bag).

Thanks for the recipe! I have made treats for Charlie several times and it has spoiled her! But it's a good thing that she prefers the homeade kind over icky store-bought ones! I have all of these ingredients so I'll probably make them tomorrow!

I have a recipe that is super simple:
beef liver cooked and pureed (this is the gross part)
Any high quality muffin mix prepared according to the package with the liver puree added. Cooking time may need to be adjusted (usually increased). One of our trainers gave me the recipe after giving my dog a few of these treats. It works well with gluten/corn free mixes as well for dogs on grain free diets. The liver smell is tough but my dogs reaction is worth the smell!
