really really affordable restaurant for 23 people
any suggestions - for a retirement lunch or dinner
can't spend more than 20$ pp (including tip and tax)  Is this possible?

My sister had my nieces first birthday at Sergio's in Massapequa on Merrick Rd and I believe it was $17 a person, no alcohol and there was a unlimited soda, salad, unlimited bread basket, spaghetti dish, then there was a choice of a few dishes for the main meal, then cookies and coffee and she brought her own cake. There was a ton of food. I think if you wanted to add alcohol it wasn't that much more. They have the menus and prices on their website.

This. We had DS birthday here.
They worked out a deal on the alcohol for us, because many people did not drink who came. It came out right around $20 pp in the end.
The place is not all decked out and gorgeous, but the food is good and what I liked about it was there was something like 10 entrees to choose from off the menu. Not just chicken, steak or fish.

Most chinese buffets are fairly affordable and there are a few that have private rooms.

I believe they have other locations as well.
Fantastic food and very reasonable.
DS's Christening was there.

J & R's you can definitely do a luncheon for $15, and they will work out a deal with you

Ita! I think my friends shower there was like $12 pp! Sergio's is good as well.

I have had two parties at the Cull House and it was more than $20 pp. I was also unhappy with the service the second time. We are long time customers and were so unhappy we haven't been back since.
